A simple technique to help you overcome Procrastination
While we all know how we avoid, delay and do anything but what is needed, if you set yourself 25 minutes for working on a single task and make yourself go through that initial discomfort barrier, it becomes easier after a few minutes.
Then give yourself 5 mins reward break.
Repeat 2 times on the first and second step and before you know it you have put an hour into something that you would have put off but which you know needed to be done.
Sounds easy? But it will it be effective once you are used to this?
Yes, your brain will just accept it as a regular habit after you do that many times. The mind can be tricked into work as easily as it can be lulled into torpor.
