Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
People who use EFT find that they can overcome their negative emotions that have a direct effect on health and wellbeing, blocking the natural flow of bodily energy. EFT offers a release from stress-related conditions, restoring the natural bodily and mental balance whilst reducing intense emotions and feelings.
An EFT practitioner will ask you to think about your problem. They will ask you to measure its intensity on a scale of 1 to 10. The practitioner will then ask you to tap a sequence of points on your body until you feel that the intensity of your emotions has reduced to zero or a lower level of intensity.
The disturbing feeling dispelled and the distress diminished. Individuals find themselves yawning, laughing or crying all of which are common reactions that the emotions and feelings easing negative energy are being released. Afterwards you will still remember the problem, but fewer to no bad feelings will be attached to it. This effect is often felt within minutes, but for very intense experiences or situations, more time is needed.
The session finishes with useful tips and techniques you can use at home in case your problem re-occurs. This technique is often used to help people with:
